Our first day of peeling went well. The persimmon curtains of orange look beautiful.
Yoga class comes grape picking

Today it was nice to see our friends yasuda San who came buy grapes. They brought us some delicious bread. They are bakers in Ijima town. お友達安田さんがぶどうを買いに来ました。yasufarmのパン持って来てくれた。美味しかった！！

Our first selling day!!!
Suzuki San came all the way from Shizuoka to buy our grapes!!!
These boys! They have been coming with their family since they were 2 or three. They have grown so big. They love our grapes and are great pickers. They know which ones are perfectly ripe!!!
When the wind blows!!!
Yoshi’s blower is a great help cleaning the polytunnels ready for harvest in October. Today we are recovering after the typhoon. There has been no damage to the grapes but the apple and nashi orchards around here have got lots of fruit on the ground.
