Strawberries…

It doesn’t take much to get the kids in the garden. They were excited about the first strawberries of the year. It made their day.

My tapener!!! I love this tool. It tapes the vines to the training wires and makes work fun!!!

My MP3 player. I would be lost without my baby. Today I learned so much from BBC podcasts. If you haven’t ever listened to Woman’s hour, Seriously, The Untold, The Food Program or the Naked Podcast then you don’t know what you’re missing! I was working. Honest!!!

 

Fixing the greenhouses

We spent the day yesterday repairing our Shine Muscat greenhouses. Yoshi did the high up work and I stayed on the ground!!! 

 

Rainy day on the farm

 

Today it was forecast rain so we picked up the dried weeds around the polytunnels and loaded them into the truck to take to burn. This kind of a job is a joy to do with the kids. It doesn`t take long and its easy, messy and fun. Sometimes it can be hard for them when we are busy. I hope they will remember the fun and games!!!
