What a lovely picture of Yoshi!!　Today we were putting the bags on the grapes. This protects them from bugs and keeps them at a good temperature for ripening.

ブドウ畑で市田柿！！！

Yoshi is enjoying a dried persimmon with his tea. The great thing about these fruits is that we can eat them all year round. We love them!!!　私たちは市田柿大好き。毎日１年中食べれて嬉しい！！！お茶の時間にちょうどいい。

摘粒が始まった！

今日は摘粒が始まった。　だいたい10日掛けてやります。すごい細かい大事な仕事です。お客様の事を考えて良い房を作ります！Today we started trimming the bunches down, It will take us about 2 weeks to trim them all. It is really important that we do this to make good bunches. I am thinking of our customers as I trim them. Looking forward to harvest!!!

 

ブドウ畑で、てきしん！

Here is Matsumura San. He is helping us for a few months. He is taking care of cutting the tops of the vines for us. Thank you Matsumura San!!!

市田柿の摘果

Today we worked at the persimmon orchard taking off unwanted shoots. I was amazed by how much these little trees had grown. They our our babies. 今日は市田柿畑で摘果やりました。いらない新枝をとりました。幼木はこんなに大きくなったねと思いました。

We are dipping the grapes in food help them grow. Yoshi has been caught red-handed!!!

枝広い。シャインマスカット。今日はぶどう園のえだを拾って軽トラで運びました。Today I am feeling happy I managed to move all these branches with the truck. It had been a while since I had driven manual so I loved it!!!

Today was a beautiful day pruning at the orchard. The snow topped mountains and blue sky. You can`t beat it! 今日は、ぶどう園は最高にきれいだった！やまの上に雪、青空。。。たまに電車が通る。最高！
